Dermal Filler

What is a Dermal Filler?

Dermal filler is made of Hyaluronic acid and is used for small injections that deposit volume to various areas of the face that show signs of volume loss and aging. There are several types of dermal filler that can be used to provide structure to the face. This common cosmetic procedure produces results right away, and typically lasts up to a year.

Hyaluronic acid fillers are similar to a naturally occurring substance found in your own skin, giving your skin volume and keeping it hydrated. This type of nonsurgical cosmetic procedure usually takes less than half an hour, and recovery time is minimal.
